A simple and refreshing cucumber salad perfect for summer meals and barbecues.

Ingredients

  • 2 large cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine sliced cucumbers and red onion in a bowl.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together white vinegar, olive oil, dill, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour dressing over the cucumber and onion mixture.
  4. Toss gently to coat.
  5. Chill for at least 15 minutes before serving.
